Language Lab’s Pragmatics and Language Skills Class is back by popular demand. Language Lab’s PALS class is a social skills class geared towards maximizing each child’s social and communication abilities. PALS classes are facilitated by a certified speech and language pathologist and an additional support professional.
The class’s mission is to improve your child’s social skills and overall communication through completion of a common goal in a small group setting. Each week’s goal is to build and maintain relationships with peers and strengthen conflict resolution skills. PALS’ six week curriculum focuses on creating a safe and fun space for your children to learn.
Winter 2024 Class Schedule are as follows:
PALS Down for 4-5 year olds: Mondays, 4:30-5:15 pm - 1/29, 2/5, 2/12, 2/26, 3/4, 3/11 (Please note that 2/19 is President’s Day and class will NOT be held)
PALS Up for 6-7 year olds: Thursdays, 4:30-5:15 pm - 1/18, 1/25, 2/1, 2/8, 2/15, 2/29 (Please note that 2/22 is during President’s Week class will NOT be held)
The cost of 6 classes is $780 for PALS. PALS is considered a therapeutic language intervention and at the end of every 6 sessions, a super-bill is provided to submit for insurance reimbursement. How many students are in a class?
The number of students per class is a maximum of 5 children, based on the specific age of each group. Give us a call and we will let you know 212-918-1567.
What form of payment do you accept?
Classes can be paid for by Zelle, check or cash. We will give you the necessary info during the sign up process.
What is the class cancellation policy?
Classes are non-refundable, but credit towards future classes might be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Are the days and times listed the only options?
The class times listed are for the age group in the description. Other options are not available at this time.
Do you offer private sessions?
Yes. Private sessions are coordinated with each instructor individually. Contact us for pricing and scheduling options.
