Do you take credit cards?
At this time, we do not take credit cards. We bill monthly and take cash or checks. We are looking into possibly taking credit cards in the near future so make sure to inquire if interested.
Will your service be covered by my insurance?
We do not accept private insurances. Before contacting us, please call your insurance company to find out if you are eligible for out-of-network speech and language therapy and/or evaluation reimbursement. If your insurance company requests a predetermination note, please ask your pediatrician. We do not accept insurance payments. You pay us directly and then you submit your monthly invoice for reimbursement.
How do I submit for out-of-network reimbursement?
We provide you with a monthly invoice of your speech and language therapy services. It will contain the necessary information including diagnosis and treatment codes, session date and length, fees paid, description of services provided, as well as pertinent provider information (tax ID, license number, etc.).
What does an evaluation entail?
Each language lab evaluation begins with a caregiver interview, both on the phone and in person, during which we ask questions about your child's developmental history. The therapist will then administer the appropriate standardized testing for your child at an in-office appointment. Together with the information gathered from the caregiver interview, testing scores, clinical observation during play and teacher report (if applicable) a plan and therapy goals specific to your child's needs will be put in place. Following the evaluation process a meeting will be scheduled with you to discuss the results and recommendations.
How long is a treatment session?
The duration of each treatment session is determined by your child's individual needs. Sessions are either 30 or 45 minutes in length. Your child may attend therapy more than once a week, again, depending on his or her specific needs.
How much does it cost? The following rates are for in-office sessions. Please call us for at-home and school visit rates.
30-minute session - $145
45-minute session - $185
1-hour session - $215
Speech & Language Assessment - $250
A one hour assessment which includes observation of the child's speech and/or language, discussion with caregiver about results, and a brief one page summary. (This is not recommended for families who are looking to submit for private insurance reimbursement).
Comprehensive Speech & Language Evaluation - Ranges from $750 to $1500
Includes up to three hours of standardized testing, discussion with caregiver of the results of testing, and comprehensive write-up of results. Fee range is dependent upon the amount of testing needed, areas under examination, length of report, and consultation time.

Initial phone consultation is free. Additional consultations whether phone or in-person will be charged at the hourly consultation rate above.
